Day 1
Depart from the UK on your flight to Cambodia (we can also arrange your holiday without flights if preferred)
Day 2
Arrive and enjoy some time at leisure to relax, or we can add in sightseeing depending on your preference. In the early evening you will be picked up for a fun filled tour of Siem Reap by tuk tuk to tantalise your tastebuds! Discover some of the best dishes of Cambodia, as well as some rather unique treats.
Day 3
Start the day by visiting Angkor Wat. For the rest of the day, explore the temples of Angkor with your private guide at a relaxed pace - the day will be extremely flexible to ensure that you get the most out of your time here.
Day 4
This morning set off on a fabulous tour to discover rural village life on the outskirts of Siem Reap. Get a taste of rural Cambodian life. Travel by ox cart to a remote village, stopping to browse colourful markets and to join farming activities if you fancy. Share a meal with friendly locals and be blessed in a traditional Buddhist ceremony. Explore Tonle Sap Lake and the residents’ unique lifestyle. The rest of the day is free to return to the temples, or our guide can accompany you for further sightseeing. This evening visit the amazing Cambodian Phare Circus!
Day 5
Spend a morning with the elephants at Kulen Forest before the afternoon is free. Explore Siem Reap town, enjoy a leisurely day by the pool, join a cooking class or indulge in a spa treatment.
Day 6
After breakfast, depart overland to Phnom Penh. Stop along the way at the local market to buy fresh fruit, before arriving to the one of the most important pre-Angkorian sites in the country; Sambor Prei Kuk. Walk through the jungle and take an ox cart ride through the countryside during your visit, before arriving in the city late afternoon.
Day 7
Take a morning walking tour to uncover a hidden side of Phnom Penh with your guide. Discover the capital’s incredible architecture and visit some of the key sites of the city. In the afternoon you can join the guide for a sobering experience exploring the recent turbulent history of a nation virtually destroyed by civil war (of course if you prefer to do something else we do understand and can suggest other ways to spend your time).
Day 8
A free day in Phnom Penh before a chance to discover Phnom Penh by night. Wander along the riverfront, joining locals for a street snack before a wonderful sunset river cruise. Alternatively we can arrange an evening discovering the best street food or even craft beer in the city!
Day 9
This morning your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to colonial Kampot. Make a stop at a traditional pepper farm famous for producing "Kampot Pepper". Enjoy an evening stroll along the river in Kampot, or simply relax by the pool.
Day 10
Day at leisure. You may wish to visit Rabbit Island, a short boat ride away from the mainland or take a stand-up paddleboarding tour to visit local villages around Kampot. There are also some fantastic cooking classes in the area.
Day 11
This morning travel to the port of Sihanoukville and transfer by boat to a choice of the beautiful islands (Koh Rong/KohRussey/Krabey) to spend the end of your holiday relaxing on the beach.
Day 12
Full day at your leisure on the beach

Third day at your leisure on the beach
Day 14
A final full day relaxing on the beach in Cambodia.
Day 15
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight from Cambodia.

This two week itinerary takes in five of the main highlights of Cambodia, giving you a real taste of this beautiful and diverse country. The itinerary starts with four nights in Siem Reap, here you will get to see the breathtaking temples of Angkor and beauty of Tonle Sap lake. Continue overland to the capital Phnom Penh, making an optional visit along the way to one of the country’s most important pre-Angkorian sites: Sambor Prei Kuk. Then three nights in Phnom Penh to provide you with a slice of urban chic, fantastic street food, and the opportunity to confront Cambodia’s modern history. After here you will be driven by your private driver to your next stop, Kampot. Spend two nights enjoying the colonial architecture, cafe culture and famous pepper farms. For the active take a tour of traditional lifestyles by bicycle or SUP. To finish you will be whisked off to a gorgeous beach retreat where you can relax and unwind on a choice of islands; Koh Rong, Koh Russey or Krabey. Here enjoy the crystal clear waters and white sand beaches as you reflect on a wonderful journey overland through Cambodia.
