Day 1
Depart from the UK on your flight to Cambodia.
Day 2
A short hop on to Siem Reap. Arrive in the morning or afternoon and enjoy some time at leisure to relax. In the early evening your driver and guide will take you out of the city to the local Phare Circus - enjoy dinner and a traditional dance circus show based on Cambodian culture and local lifestyle.
Day 3
Start the day by visiting Angkor Wat. For the rest of the day, explore the temples of Angkor with your private guide at a relaxed pace - the day will be extremely flexible to ensure that you get the most out of your time here.
Day 4
After a morning visit to the local market to purchase some ingredients, start your Khmer cooking class and discover the secrets of authentic cuisine hosted by the famous Cassia Restaurant. After a delicious lunch, spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 5
A free day in which to explore Siem Reap town - enjoy a leisurely day by the pool, join a cooking class or indulge in a spa treatment.
Day 6
After breakfast, depart overland towards Kampong Thom. Stops along the way at the local market and to buy fresh fruit, before arriving to the one of the most important pre-Angkorian sites in the country; Sambor Prei Kuk. Walk through the jungle and take an ox cart ride through the countryside during your visit, before ending the day at an ancient craft village where traditional techniques are still practised.
Day 7
This morning continue by road to Phnom Penh, arriving in the late morning to check in to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at your leisure to explore the city on foot or by tuk tuk at your own pace.
Day 8
Full day exploring Phnom Penh with your guide. Start the tour with the city's cultural highlights, such as the Royal Palace and National museum. In the afternoon you will have a sobering experience exploring the recent turbulent history of a nation virtually destroyed by civil war.
Day 9
This morning your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the coastal village of Kep. Along the way you will also stop for a tour of colonial Kampot and the traditional pepper farms producing the famous "Kampot Pepper".
Day 10
Day at leisure. You may wish to visit Rabbit Island, a short boat ride away from the mainland.
Day 11
This morning head further South along the coast to Sihanoukville to spend the end of your holiday relaxing on the beach.
Day 12
Full day at your leisure on the beach
Day 13
Third day at your leisure on the beach
Day 14
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight from Cambodia.
